This is great recipe. I have also made it with only 1/3 cup of butter and it worked out just fine with brown bread. I do not like it with white bread since I think it is a gooey mess (but that is just my opinion of white bread).

Apple Crisp II

This apple crisp recipe is the best especially if you like lots of crumble. It is easy to make in large batches, and it freezes and thaws well. This is the only apple crisp recipe I use now.

Boilermaker Tailgate Chili

Banana Upside-Down Cake

I love this recipe. It is great to throw in the oven when you find out you have company coming. It is not overly sweet since there is no "icing" on it. The bananas and the nuts are enough. A great simple desert.

Maple Salmon

I love this recipe. It is even easier if you buy the salmon already skinned. A word of caution - make sure there is no extra marinade in the pan when you bake this because it will burn due to the sugar content and stink up your kitchen.

The Best Rolled Sugar Cookies

Eileen's Spicy Gingerbread Men

This dough is a really great consistency for rolling and cutting. I didn't have any problems with it sticking to the counter or cracking. However, I found these to have a very strong molasses taste (which I am not fond of). I agree with some of the other reviewers who commented that these are not spicy at all - to me the only thing I could taste was the molasses. I would make again for ease of using cookie cutters with my daughter, but not to share with other adults.

Fresh Ginger Cookies

White Cheese Chicken Lasagna

This recipe is great for many reasons. The first of which is that you can omit the spinach if people don't like it and it is still amazing. The second reason is that you can make this in advance, keep in the fridge and pop in the oven before your company arrives. The third reason is that it is oh so cheese and just perfectly seasoned. Enjoy!

Banana Pudding Cake

This recipe is amazing. I made a "test" cake for my daughter's birthday and we ate the whole thing in one night. I used a cream cheese icing with it. For a 12x18 slab cake I used 3 x this recipe. All the guests loved it, and so did my daughter.

Chesscakes

I made these with homemade pastry, raspberry jam, one bowl chocolate cake and then ganache on the top. Garnished with a fresh raspberry. They were to die for. Everyone loved them.
