My husband said this is better than the pulled pork at our local barbecue restaurant.
I used a pork shoulder roast and cut the fat off it before cooking. Based on the other reviews, I increased the coffee to 1 cup, used one 10 oz. can of double strength beef broth, and 1 1/2 tsp. of liquid smoke. It turned out great, but next time I think I'll use a less fatty cut of meat. I removed most of the visible fat, but the meat was still very rich (too rich for me, but not for my hubby).
I served it with Trader Joe's barbecue sauce, rolls, and creamy spiced coleslaw (from allrecipes).
