Sheffield born & raised. Taught to cook by my beloved Gran, on a Yorkshire range when I was little. Have many recipes from her. Mum was professional cook, at the very highest standards.
I am Coeliac and diabetic, so food needs have had to change. Love to travel when I have the time, hence the interests in international ciuisine.
My favorite things to cook
Smoked salmon, slices of lemon & fingers of brown bread. Locally raised sirloin of Beef, real Yorkshire puddings, real gravy, roast potatoes, Jersey new potatoes, vegetables in season.(or what I have saved in freezer)
Deesert..strawberries with a raspberry coulie...and if you really still have room...some Wensleydale cheese, and a sliver of fruitcake...and have friends to share.What time do you want to dine?
