My Wedding Day
About this Cook
I started cooking when I was about 18 or 19. I wasn't really good until I met my husband. Then I started experimenting and making new things. I love all recipes because I can try all sorts of new things. My husband loves to be my guinea pig.
My favorite things to cook
I love to bake. I make my own pie crusts so I do all of the desserts for our Holiday get togethers. My in-laws have made me the all time pie maker. I also love to make salads and appetizers for all of our parties and get togethers.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I love to make cookies at Christmas. And as much work as it is to make 7 or 8 pies for Christmas dinner I still enjoy it.
My cooking triumphs
I made my first homemade cherry pie this year. My fater-in-law brought me two big bowls of cherries that I had to pit and I made 4 pies with them. They came out perfect. I was very proud of myself. It always feels good when someone tells me how good my cooking is.
My cooking tragedies
Well when I was about 15 years old I burnt spaghettio's. Don't ask. I got made fun of by my brothers forever.

Easy Steak Sandwich
Love this recipe. The first time I made this with a Sirloin Steak I found on sale. I cut it really thin and then fried it up & then fried up the onion, mushroom and green pepper. Cut open a loaf of Italian Bread and toasted it. Then topped it with steak and veggies and put cheese on top. Put back in oven on broil for a minute to melt the cheese. Added steak sauce to my portion and it was soooo delicious.

Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies
I have been using this recipe for quite a while and they always turn out good. I have tried it with vanilla pudding and white chocolate pudding and they are both great. My family loves them and so does everyone I have ever made them for. Thanks for a great recipe!!!

Sweet Dinner Rolls
This is one of the best roll recipes I've tried. I have made this before but I made it again last night and the dough perfect. I put into a 11x7 greased pan and they rose wonderfully. I would rate it higher if I could.
