About this Cook
i'm a tiny girl but i'm vicious in the kitchen! i LOVE to cook but i'm a huge perfectionist. most people that try to cook with me end up get fussed at for not doing it "my way". i took culinary in 10th grade and it has been the love of my life ever since. i'm currently in college to be a dental hygienist, but i've been considering becoming a baker or pastry chef. also i've been vegetarian since march/06. i thought about becoming vegan but i realised i love cheese too much to give it up haha
My favorite things to cook
anything with cheese! i loooove cheese. anything vegetarian or italian is my specialty, im a huge pasta fan. i enjoy making desserts & so does my family, they love being my lab rats for a new recipe :]
My favorite family cooking traditions
hmmm... we don't really have cooking traditions
My cooking triumphs
i excell at most everything i cook, i have rarely burned or ruined a dish
My cooking tragedies
well, my "time of the month" had hit and i was craving Devil Dogs, so that night i decided i would make some [i had made them many times before]. Before going to bed my mom warned me that it's "bad luck" to cook on your period, and i told her she was just superstitious. I ended up burning all my devil dogs that night. i learned 2 lessons - always listen to mom, and never bake on your period, hahaha!

Chocolate Eclair Cake
BEST dessert i've ever made! the more layers the better! i love a nice equal amount of grahams and the pudding mixture. i make it for every party and they LOVE it!

Grandma's Easy Shells
this is a great recipe when your hungry but low on cash or ingredients! i use elbow noodles instead of shells, the texture is better to me than the shells. also i only use 1 piece of cheese because i like more of the tomatoe taste than the sliced cheese taste. i try to keep all these ingredients on hand for a lazy day that i dont feel like cooking. the taste is very similar to that of Spagghetti-Os, very good!
