Pound Cake III

Excellent recipe. I have moved to Singapore and my son misses the mexican food availble in US,used to buy them from the store but the ones that u get here are not as fresh- have a long way to travel. tried this recipe they came out perfect. I used the fork in the beginning to mix the hot water and alter kneaded them with my hands.I substituted whole wheat flour + flour (50-50). they were perfect. Had no problems rolling them either..

Mexican Whole Wheat Flour Tortillas

Great Tortillas, I too did not measure the ingredients and since i have been rolling the Roti-Indian Flat bread( being Indian )for the last 30+ years they were easy- rolled very well and my son loves them I will not buy the store Tortillas ever again.

Best Big, Fat, Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie

The cookes were chewsy and fat but my sons did not like the taste of the dough, may be because of the yolk.

Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies II

made it with clarified butter instead of Shortening as i had none, they were very good, added chopped walnuts to 1/2 and chocolate chips to half- great cookies,will use this again and again

Carrot Cake III

It was mist and good but I found a too sweet, will use wheat flour and less sugar next time. took the advice of others added 1 cup fresh pineapple puree. Will make again.

Easy Paella

I added 3 cloves of garlic & 1 tspn of ground Cumin and 2 tomatoes to the original recipe. It was more flavor.

Fudge Brownies I

I made this brownie with 2 eggs, it was chewy the way my sons like it but far toooo sweet, I am surprised nobody mentioned that . Also the browine stuch to pan , i cut it after cooling, it is chewy & fudgy.

Brownie Mix in a Jar II

I made this today, substituted regular sugar with brown sugar, used the milk & 3 eggs, it was good , but not a chewy brownie like texture, but easy to make.
