This is a good recipe, but of course I did not have all the ingredients and had to improvise. I cut the sausage into small pieces to help them cook faster. I did not have salsa so I used stewed tomatoes and added a quarter cup of water, covered and simmered the sausage until done. My tortilla chips were taco shells heated and crunched up. But we ate every sinful bite. I would make it again because it was tasty without being too hot.

I made this recipe last night, I added a little brown sugar and Worcestershire sauce to the tomato soup and baked it as suggested and wow how delicious. I said to my husband "you ate those down to the bone" he replied"actually I think the meat fell off the bone". I will definitely use this recipe again and the ingredients most people already have in the house. Thanks so much for sharing this wonderful recipe

This soup is worth every star I found it easy to make and delicious. I added cheese which made it scrumptous. Very economical also. Great recipe, thanks so much for sharing.
