White Chili

I used shredded turkey instead of ground and chicken broth instead of water. It was wonderful! It may be a little spicy for youngsters, I'd use a mild salsa for them.

Very delicious! Don't be afraid of the lemon extract, it just adds a delicate touch of flavor to the cakes. I had more batter left over in the fridge and they fried up perfectly the next day. I did not need quite as much oil as the recipe called for.

Slow Cooker Corn Chowder

I used already cubed ham and frozen kernel corn. I loved the broth because it was light but so flavorful. It is also lower in fat & calories but you wouldn't know it.

Chocolate Peanut Butter Bars IV

I've died and gone to heaven! These are awesome. I'm thinking of trying to form the peanut butter into balls and dipping them into the chocolate for little "truffles".

Country Oatmeal Cookie in a Jar

I made this for Christmas presents for people at work. They loved it! Overall it was much more inexpensive than trying to buy 12 presents and I liked that it was useful as well. I found it easier to fill the jars when I made a paper cone. You have to pack everything down a bit so it will fit easily.
