Born in Germany, at home in Spain for more than 20 years now, 2 teenage children, teacher + translator, vegetarian, bookworm, nature-loving... trying to live life how it comes I'm always looking for new recipes and like to try them out immediately, not leaving out any tradition, region, continent or culture.... as long as it is meatless One-pot meals as my grandmother cooked them, lentils, peas, beans, chickpeas,... and home-made bread, the darker the better. No doubt: my birthday cakes. Any other occasion is as welcome for self-made cakes, but those colourful icings with candles + special decoration are always something to remember Lentils are my enemies, they get stuck as soon as I turn my back on them ;-))
