About this Cook
I have a family of four, and two dogs. We are a very busy family who enjoys life to the fullest!
My favorite things to cook
My favorite thing to cook lately has been Chicken Satay, found on this website!
My favorite family cooking traditions
I would have to say at Christmas, We make many candies and send them to our family around the U.S.. We make approximately 500 pieces of hand-dipped candies.
My cooking triumphs
I developed a dog food for my dogs. One of my dogs has serious food allergies, and after trying many very expensive dog foods, I created my own, and he has not had a problem since, and best thing is knowing what I'm feeding them.
My cooking tragedies
Rhubarb Cake... I loved my Aunt's Rhubarb Cake growing up, and I can't make it, following her recipe exactly, it wont turn out for me. UUUggghh, it was awful!!

Apricot Pork Chops
I made this in a crock pot using catalina dressing, so good to come home to, much easier clean up too!

Chili Dog Casserole II
OH MY GOODNESS! Such a switch from normal hot dogs. The kids love this, think it is just the coolest. I did add cheese and sour cream to the inside of the roll up. Wonderful, easy, kid and hubby approved!

Bierrocks II
I made this about 5 nights ago and last night DELISH!! My husband wants to know when its on the menu again! I made the bread dough in my breadmaker with the plain white bread recipe, I also added diced green pepper to it. I also suggest slicing the cheese, rather than grading and adding right before rolling up, as the cheese gets lost in the mix.
