About this Cook
I'm in my early 30's. I'm a mom and I work full time. I have lots of hobbies, don't have much time to spend on them as I like, but everything has to have a balance. I enjoy cooking. I have a huge kitchen, old, but huge. And it's always the gathering spot when people come over. I love to learn new tips and tricks in the kitchen, and teach others how easy it can be.
My favorite things to cook
Anything!!! Okay to narrow it down, I love to cook outdoors. Grilled meat and light sides are definately passions of summer. But there is something wonderful in a great main dish, yummy salad, crusty bread, and a lovely dessert thrown together with good friends and good wine.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I've pretty much taught myself in the kitchen. I have two wonderful children and we are making new traditions to do through out the years to come.
My cooking triumphs
I love to Bake!!! Every Christmas, for the past 5 years. I bake for about 20 families, and my assortment of goodies is my treat to them. I take a friday off from work each year around Christmas. I bake and cook Friday, Saturday and some on Sunday and deliver these boxes to the lucky ones. It's a good assortment, twelve different kinds of cookies, fudge, and candies in each box. Every year I tell myself I probably won't do it again, it is a lot of work. But as the year passes...and Christmas rolls around, everyone starts asking when they are getting their box. And I find myself, around Christmas, handing away Shirt size gift boxes filled with wonderful sugar goodness.

Rich Danish Waffles
Best waffle recipe! I had to make one change, because I didn't have regular milk, so I used low fat buttermilk for both parts of milk. They were still amazing. This recipe does make 12-16, and for my family, that is a lot. BUT the leftovers can be thrown in the toaster the next morning and they are still so crispy and yummy good. A lot of recipes claim to make great leftovers, well this one really does! These waffles were fluffy and have a slight sweetness. This will definitely be my new waffle recipe to lean on for perfect waffles. Thanks for sharing this tasty recipe with us!

Blueberry Cream Muffins
The best blueberry muffin recipe! I have tried dozens of different blueberry recipes and this is definitely #1! My family, coworkers and neighbors loved them. These are a higher quality of muffin, more of what you might find at a fine baker's shop. I used frozen blueberries, it's all I had on hand, tossed them in with the dry ingredients, gave them a few stirs and they were just fine. They didn't fall to the bottom and there were loads of blueberries all the way through the muffin. I did use an extra cup of blueberries, I love them! If you want to make the best blueberry muffin recipe, look no further, this is the recipe.

Clone of a Cinnabon
THE BEST! This really is the best recipe for cinnamon rolls. We received terrible weather and we were snowed in for a few days, so with the extra time on my hands I decided to make these. They were so yummy and perfect. They made the house smell so wonderful. I followed the recipe exactly. I don't have a bread machine, so using the review of another member, I followed her instructions on how to make the dough without a bread machine. My family loved them! I made a few too many and shared them with the neighbors and they loved them as well. I will definitely make these again and again. Thank you for such an awesome tasty recipe!
