I am a Senior at Bethel University majoring in Studio Art, minoring in Art History. I am also a competative distance runner with several Minnesota age records in the 5k, 8k, and 10k distances, and was an All American cross country runner. Since I am involved in high level running competition, nutrition and good food are very important to me. What I love to cook mostly is foods from around the Globe, or things which sound new and interesting. My grandmother's Cookie recipes are the best! They bring back memories from when I was only old enough to help her by "Sampling" them. Anything that I have made to which my mother gives her seal of approval is a triumph I have one thing to say: When tradgedy strikes in the kitchen, Improvise!
