Chicken Pot Pie IX
I love chicken pot pies and was excited to make my first one - this was really good. Following suggestions, I baked for 45 minutes at 375 degrees and added garlic powder to the sauce. I added mushrooms and green peppers and left out the celery and carrots.

Sour Cream Mushroom Chicken
This is one of my favorite meals from home, but I've always just had it with one can of cream of mushroom mixed with 8 oz sour cream, poured over chicken and baked. This seemed like a good way to fancy it up. I scaled to three and going by the previous suggestion used one can cream of mushroom, 8 oz sour cream and 1/3 cup white wine. I think because I'm using cheap cooking wine, the wine taste was really overpowering. Next time I'll just a small splash. Other than that, it was really good. I served it over white rice.

Emily's Famous Onion Dip
Appreciated a healthier onion dip. Made 24 hours in advance for a dinner party and, though it was complimented by the guests, a lot was left over. I'm still eating it. You can't tell it's yogurt and it tastes almost like sour cream and onion. Maybe I'm too used to sour cream, but it just seemed to be missing something.
