This is very sweet. Next time I would add the cinnamon to the crumb mixture and skip the white sugar on top all together. Tasty but very sweet if you follow this recipe exactly.

Made this for a family party and it was a welcome change from the normal "creamy" vegetable side dishes. I will definitely make this again.

I have made this recipe several times as it travels well for camping. Because you add the dressing while the rice is still hot I've found that the rice soaks it up and can leave the salad on the dry side. We always double the dressing recipe add half when preparing the salad and reserve half for adding after the salad has cooled.
