My favorite things to cook
Usually sweet-baked stuff, considering I've a huge sweet-tooth. My family do, too. So I bake a lot of cakes, puddings, pies, etc.
And, simple pastas and sandwiches for me and my boyfriend for quick lunch.
Also, anything with canned tuna, of which I crave. Salad, pasta, and melts.
My cooking tragedies
My ex-boyfriend was a major health-freak and was in a strict program to build his muscles. I wanted to surprise him by cooking him a healthy meal. I made him vegetable stir-fry, without salt and artificial seasoning of course, and, since he's a big fan of cheesecake, healthy-cheesecake, made out of a mix of cream cheese and tofu-yes, tofu-without sugar. Both of the recipes use ginger as the seasoning.
My sisters joined in for the meal and they said the stir-fry was OK since it was meant to be a healthy dish after all, although the taste of the ginger was a tad-bit too strong.
But, you could've imagine their face when they started to taste the cheesecake. My boyfriend had trouble gulping down his first-bite, but one of my sister actually spit it back to the plate!! The tofu and ginger taste was awfully striking and it tasted nowhere near cheesecake.
I stopped making super-healthy food ever since, and solemnly swore under the greatness of salt, seasoning, fat, and sugar.
