I am currently in my umpteenth incarnation, career-wise. I have had a multitude of different jobs, and cooking professionally is my current and favorite line of work. I have finally found my niche! I love doing salads of all kinds, and I do mean ALL kinds. Any meat or chicken dish that includes lots of flavors are also a favorite. I love sharing time with my husband preparing meals. He is a great prep chef, and we share our day over the cutting boards. When my mother and I, or my sister and I, or my daughter and I get together, we often cook together, and visit, sharing recipes and techniques, over a glass of wine. These are some of my favorite moments. When I get a compliment from anyone I have cooked for, I feel fulfilled! I recently had a customer come to me and say that he had had Beef Bourguignon many times and in many places, including France, but that mine was the best he had ever had. What a great feeling that was! Wow! My first attempt at biscuits were a complete disaster. They were hard as rocks, and completely inedible. I never have perfected my biscuit recipe, as a matter of fact, and it seems that all my cooking tragedies have involved them.
