About this Cook
I didn't start cooking until I was 40 (divorced), so in the past 10 years, I have come a long way with my coooking skills . . . . thanks to All Recipes. During the holidays or just get-togethers at my home, I'm always asked where I got this recipe from and if they could have a copy. I've turned on SO many people onto this website, that I'm constantly being thanked !!!
My favorite things to cook
I have a Rib Recipe that you cook in the oven. My sister from Texas poo-poo'ed that . . . until she tried them. This is the only she makes them now. My Italian Favorite is Lasagna - the sauce doesn't take long, and the actual lasagna is so good and creamy, everyone enjoys it.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Always cook for an army, you never know when someone is going to stop in !!
My cooking triumphs
Will have to think about this one . . .
My cooking tragedies
The only one I can think of right now is my marinated eggplant that you grill. As the oils were soaked up by the eggplant, I kept adding more Balsomic Vinegar & Oil, and they didn't grill right, and of course they were to vinegary !!!! Just Horrible !!!

Hawaiian Slaw
DELISH !!! I went with the dried fruits instead of the plan raisins and added a little bit more of the coconut. MAKE SURE YOU LET THIS SET IN YOUR FRIG - THE FLAVORS REALLY INTENSIFY !!! I had a bowl right after making this, and then waiting, this is how I know !!!!

Brie en Croute
I've been making this for over 10 years, and yes, it's always a hit! Because I like to have a table of several appertisers, I usually make this with the smaller triangle shaped Brie and using a 1/2 sheet of pastry. At times I havn't used the parsley, but just the sheet of dough.

Groovy Green Smoothie
DELISH !!!! The only different thing I did was I used applesauce because I had it on hand instead of the 1/2 apple, then added a little milk because it was to thick drinking this from a staw. Got my greens picked the night before and got my yogurt & applesauce measured, so all I had to do was throw everything into my blender, and off to work I went !!!
