Spiced Pecans

I made this with peanuts instead of pecans and they turned out great. Pecaus would be better but I had peanuts on hand.

Downeast Maine Pumpkin Bread

The first batch I accidently left out the sugar and it didn't turn out very well. The second batch with sugar was excellent. This made 12 "mini" loaves, they were abou 4inx2in.

These were good. I made a double batch and used chocolate chips since that's what I had. I would have beeen happier with a stronger peanut butter flavor.

Potato Soup Mix

I wish I would have reserved some of this to try but I shipped it off to my FIL. He can't have much sodium so I used low sodium bullion and left out the seasoning salt. I did add several tbsp of chives and it looked great.

Smooth Sweet Tea

This is very smooth but it is a little too sweet and a little weak for my taste. I'm going to steep another cup or two of tea and see if that helps.

Brownie Chocolate Chip Cheesecake

This turned out perfectly. The cheesecake didn't crack or sink. It looked as good as it tasted. I topped it with chocolate curls and served with raspberry sauce. I skipped the chocolate chips only because I forgot to buy them. I did put a pan of water on a lower rack of the oven while baking the cheesecake portion. Partly to prevent cracking and partly to catch any leakage from the springform pan.

Raspberry Sauce

Very good. I used frozen berries and skipped step 3 like others commented. I didn't have oj so I used water and a tsp of orange extract. I also cut back on the cornstarch because I wanted a thinner sauce.

Spiked Fall Cider

This was very good. I adjusted it to serve 18 and made it in the crock pot. It was sweet so you wouldn't want more then a glass or two. I used 2 cans of apple juice concentrate instead of cider and added extra spices. It was perfect and I saved myself $5 which is always good.

This was perfect with our home made mahi mahi fish and chips. It was exactly what I wanted. If you plan to scale it down use 5 or 10 servings, it divides well there. Next time I might add a lttle dill.

Chicken Puffs

Great! I used biscuit dough instead of crescent and I used green onion instead of yellow. I also added some chicken grill seasoning and forgot the butter. Even with all these changes it was a great recipe!

Slow Cooker Creole Black Beans and Sausage

Fantastic! I followed the recipe exactly and it was great. It thickened up in the last half hour or so of cooking. I served it over brown rice. Can't wait for leftovers. The flavor was good, we didn't think it was all that spicy. I wouldn't change a thing about this recipe.

Pumpkin Coffee Cake

Very good, I used 1 cup of pumpkin and cut back the sour cream by 1/4 cup. Next time I would just use the whole can of pumpkin. I baked it in a 9x13in pan for 40min and it was perfect!

Jimmy's Mexican Pizza

Very filling and good. I would have been happier if my tortilla ended up a little crispy. We used ground turkey breast instead of beef and I cut back back a little on the cheese, served with hot sauce and sour cream.
