Incredibly Cheesy Turkey Meatloaf

My family liked this meatloaf. I ususally make a turkey meatloar with bbq sauce. This was a good change.

Pumpkin Pie Squares

I made these for Thanksgiving instead of pumpkin pie. I didn't put the nut/brown sugar topping on and istead topped it with fresh homemade whipped cream. The crust is the best! I loved the oatmeal in it.

Rich Chocolate Truffle Pie

YUM! My favorite pie when I was growin up was French Silk. I try not to eat it too often now but this pie was a close second! I think next time I make it I will use a regular pie crust instead of chocolate. My kids helped me make this and had so much fun licking the bowl clean!

This had good flavor. I'm not a big bacon fan but did cook the onions with it and then only used the onions in the crockpot. I added a package of diced ham instead.

Unbelievable Chicken

Great flavor and easy to throw everything in a bag to marinate. I marinated with white wine vinegar instead of cider vinegar. I also used 4 frozen chicken breasts and let them sit in a large zip bag for 10 hours in the fridge. Even my picky 5 year old ate it!

Breakfast Loaf

This is a great recipe if you're tired of making casseroles! I tried this with a group of women in my Bible study this morning. I wish I would've brought the recipe with me. I was asked for it several times. Because this is so versatile, you could fill it with any ingredients you have on hand or like. I made the recipe as written, using sourdough. I loved crunchiness of the bread, the flavor of the red peppers and the sharpness from the cheddar and mont. jack cheeses. I will definitely be making this again over the holidays.

Chocolate Chip Pumpkin Bread

Great recipe! I made a 9 x 13 cake from this batter and had enough leftover to also make a loaf of bread for my friend. Great recipe for the holidays that's a little different from the normal pumpkin bread. I also left out the nuts.

The Best Rolled Sugar Cookies

This was my first attempt at making sugar cookies from scratch. It was such an easy recipe and the cookies turned out perfect! They had a good, buttery flavor and were soft (but not too soft to where they easily break). I had 20 kids over for a Halloween party and let them decorate their own. I will definitely be making these again at Christmas!

Addictive Pumpkin Muffins

I love pumpkin bread but don't love the amount of fat in most recipes so I tried this one. I used a homestyle (chunky w/ cinnamon) applesauce that I had on hand. The muffins came out moist and cake-like, not dry at all. I will definitely make more this fall!

Apple Crisp III

I had friends coming for dinner and wanted a fall-ish recipe that was easy. This was it! While we ate dinner, it baked and made the whole house smell good. I also substituted 1/2 brown and 1/2 white sugar. Haagen Dazs makes a Brown Sugar ice cream that's yummy served with this dessert!
