Triple-Cheese Macaroni

I made as directed but only used half the mustard that was called for, and the mustard taste was still overpowering. Sorry, but I did not like it and will not make it again.

Raspberry Cheese Spread

This was very good. I made it for a party and everyone loved it. I used some all natural fruit spread instead of preserves, and used about 2X as much as called for. I am making it again for another party this weekend!

Zesty Slow Cooker Chicken Barbecue

Reviewed: Sep. 13, 2009
Made this for lunch today. Followed the recipe, except thawed the chicken a little bit before putting in the crockpot. I also shredded the chicken when done and let it continue to cook for about an hour. We put the chicken mixture on top of baked potatoes...yum! Will make this again. So easy too!

Strawberry Angel Food Dessert

Reviewed: Jun. 15, 2009
So good! I made it in the 9X13 dish as the recipe suggests, and I think it was just fine. I used a sugar-free angel food cake, 1/3 less fat cream cheese, only 1/2 cup sugar, fat-free Cool Whip, and I used the regular strawberry glaze...I am sure the homemade would have been better. But this was REALLY good. My 16 year old son is already begging me to make it again! I can't say enough about how easy and quick and good this was.

Baby BLT

Reviewed: May 22, 2009
I have made this twice now, and both times they were the first thing eaten off the buffet table and I got requests for the receipe. Per other reviews, here's what I do: Instead of 1/2 cup mayo...I use 1/4 cup mayo and 1/4 cup cream cheese. Also, I buy the bacon in the bag that's already cooked and chopped. Take the tomatoes and cut the top off...not the end where the stem was. That way, they will sit on the plate without rolling. I cut off the top and scoop out the insides and then turn over on a paper plate with a paper towel on it and let them drain while I put the rest of the stuff together. I put the stuffing in a zip lock bag and cut a hole in the corner and that way it's easier to stuff the tomatoes. Yum!!

Sausage Egg Casserole

This was just ok. Might be better with additional ingredients, but was really too cheesy to me. Ended up throwing half of it away because the family wouldn't eat it.

King Ranch Chicken Casserole III

Delicious! Family loved it. Will make again soon. Only thing I did differently was to tear the tortillas into about 5 or 6 pieces. Also, I split the recipe between 2 8X8 dishes, refrigerated over night, and cooked one the next day for dinner, and took the other one to my parents. They loved it too. Easy recipe.

Chili Cheese Snacks

These are delicious. I left out the olives (my family doesn't like them), and I didn't read well enough and used regular onions instead of dried minced onions. Still.....this was delicious. I was surprised by how much it made. Had some left over - refrigerated them, and just put them on a baking sheet and heated them up in the oven a few days later, and they were still delicious. Will save this to make again.

Good recipe. Used left over chicken fajita meat. Doubled the recipe. If you make this, you must use the green onions. Delicious.

Hash Brown Quiche

Reviewed: Jun. 8, 2008
As we say here in Texas, "That was some good eatin!" I pretty much followed the recipe, except used only 1/4 cup melted butter. I sauted the onion in 1 Tbls. of butter, along with some chopped garlic. Also, instead of regular seasoned salt, I used Garlic Season All Salt. Used 3 eggs, and 2% cheddar. Delicious. Will be making again.

Strawberry Spinach Salad I

This was very good. I only gave 4 stars because I thought the dressing had a strong olive oil taste. I will make again though and just reduce the amount of olive oil, or increase the amounts of the other ingredients in the dressing.

Raspberry White Chocolate Mousse

Reviewed: May 5, 2008
Made this for a girls night out pool party at my house. It was delicious. I put it in champagne flutes, and topped with the sauce and mint leaves. Looked really good, and tasted even better. Everyone loved it. It was a pain to strain the raspberry sauce without a cheesecloth. I will be purchasing a cheesecloth before I make this again.
