Delicious! Seasoned chicken with salt, pepper, cumin, smoked paprika, garlic powdeer, & chipotle chile powder. Added drained black beans to bottom of casserole, put chicken on top of beans, added salsa & cheese. Added sliced black olives to top of breasts.

Delicious! I did add more parmesan than the recipe called for and also added a touch of cream at the end.

This was my first attempt at risotto, so I followed the recipe exactly. It was perfect!

Kalua Pig in a Slow Cooker

Reviewed: Apr. 30, 2009
The pork was tender and juicy, but the flavor was adequate at best. The smell of the pork/liquid smoke combo was quite offputting. I don't think I'll be making this again - there are better recipes out there.

I loved this! I added some garlic, salt, and pepper and brown the meat in hot oil first before adding to slow cooker.

Golden Pork Chops

A good, easy meal. I have also cooked this recipe on the stovetop by browning chops in oil then adding remaining ingredients. I do not add any salt due to the canned soup already has plenty.

Chicken Cordon Bleu I

Reviewed: Jan. 5, 2009
I took the advice of others and dipped the rolled chicken in butter before rolling in breadcrumbs. I cooked them at 400 degrees for 45 min., which was perfect. I also made a sauce from cream of chicken soup with various herbs because, based on other reviewers comments, I thought the chicken may be a little dry. However, the chicken was moist and tender and the sauce was not needed. Very good recipe that makes a beautiful presentation on the plate.

Slow Cooker Guisado Verde

Reviewed: Oct. 25, 2008
Very good and very easy to prepare. I omitted the water entirely and reduced the amount of salsa to one can. This makes a fabulous filling for fresh bakery roll, burrito, enchilada, taco, etc. Or, fry the leftovers in a skillet w/hot oil and serve with eggs for breakfast. Speaking of leftovers, this recipe freezes well for up to a month.

Chicken Costa Brava

Reviewed: Apr. 25, 2008
Absolutely fabulous! I took the other reviewers' suggestions and increased the amount of cumin, cinnomon, and salsa. I also added a little smoked paprika, chipotle chili powder, dash of nutmeg, and jalepeno-stuffed green olives for a more authentic flavor. I was very happily surprised by the different flavors in every bite. Will make again frequently. Good job! Delicious ethnic food!

Good and easy, but rich and not for the calorie conscious. I'm glad I took other reviewers' recommendations and cut the mayo with sour cream.

Sage Pork Chops

We loved this recipe! It is simple and tasty. I did make a couple of previously suggested recommendations: reduced the salt by half, and added sauteed onion, garlic, 1/4 cup red wine, and oregano to the beef broth. This will be in the regular rotation.

Chicken Breasts Pierre

We liked it. I took the suggestions from other reviewers and used balsamic instead of white vinegar, used wine instead of water, and added sliced onion and a can of mushrooms. I also reduced the final simmering time. Low fat, low cal, and delicious!

Apricot Chops

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2006
I agree with the other reviewers that 350 degrees for 30 min. is the right choice for 1 inch thick boneless chops. However, I didn't really like the taste much and neither did my husband. Not sure what was wrong. It was edible, but not "good".

I have made this recipe many times and it's one of my favorites because the chops always turn out great and the recipe is so quick and easy. You can use any type of jam and any type of mustard - experiment and ennjoy.

Basil Cream Chicken

Very versitile recipe. I doubled the sauce and served over linguini, as suggested by others. I used more fresh basil than the recipe called for, but would use even more next time. Not for the health or calorie conscious. Will make again frequently.

HERB-OX® Bouillon Pork Chops with Burgundy Mushroom Sauce

Reviewed: May 3, 2005
Sophisticated taste - kids won't like it. Omitted the water and added extra wine. Added a cornstarch slurry at the end to thicken the sauce. Smearing the mustard on the meat is not necessary - just combine the mustard with the wine instead and pour over chops. This dish IS salty, but hey, I like salt.

Aloha Chicken

Fabulous! I used boneless, skinless chicken breast and reduced the cooking time to 30 minutes total. I also used a lot less brown sugar, as the pineapple makes this dish plenty sweet already.
