Cake!
Chicken with Peaches
About this Cook
I would love to open a bakery one day. If you've ever heard of Sprinkles in Los angeles, thats my dream!
My favorite things to cook
Cupcakes, cookies, bars, cakes, pasta, peach chicken, and my next goal is to make a cheesecake from scratch.
My favorite family cooking traditions
The turkey soup my mother makes every thanksgiving with leftovers. She will hand the reciepe down to me this year when I help with the cooking for my first time.
My cooking triumphs
The peach chicken I made to impress a past boyfriends parents. They raved about it. Also the cornbread & sweet tea I made for friends in California. And my famous pumpkin cookies I make every fall & the 4th of July cake has become my personal tradition for the past 3 years.
My cooking tragedies
When I was 6 , trying to impress my mother I attempted 'Peanut butter cookies' by scooping peanut butter on to cookie sheets and putting them in the oven. :) I have not been able to perfect brownies, and made an awful dessert last christmas ; Chocolate raspberry bars. Not technically my fault, as I followed the recipe, it was horrible b/c it was my entry for our church bake-off, that my mother wins every single year. If you have any amazing dessert recipes please share so maybe one day I can at least challenge her! :)

Chocolate Cherry Chip Cake
This cake turned out really well. I used the milk chocolate chips instead of semi - sweet. I made it for a bake off in a 'cherry' category and came in 3rd, definitley recommended!

Coconut Chocolate Chip Cookies
I thought these were excellent. I brought them to a get together and they were gone in 20 minutes. I substitued coconut extract for almond because I didn't have any coconut, I dont know if it made a real differnence or not, but they were really good cookies. I would make them again, and share the recipe.

Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies from Heaven
I did not find these cookies to be good at all. I found them flavorless, and a tad bit salty. Not at all what I expected chocolate peanut butter cookies to taste like. I will keep looking for an amazing recipe.
