Double Layer Pumpkin Cheesecake

Reviewed: Nov. 23, 2009
I made this for a co-worker for his birthday. Many people in the office said that it was the best pumpkin cheesecake they had ever had. I agree.I also used a homemade graham cracker crust and added a pinch of cinnamon-amazing!

Norwegian Potato Klub

My grandmother put a small piece of salt pork in the center of each dumpling before boiling. She didnt use bacon at all. They are done, when they float to the top of the pot of water. Maybe mine are smaller, but mine are done in about 30 minutes. I cut them into chunks, discard the salt pork, brown them in butter, and serve with additional butter for dipping. We called this Pault when I grew up, and it is our favorite breakfast treat!

Margaritas

These are by far, the easiest and best tasting margaritas I've ever made at home. My limeade never goes bad, like my limes used to. I'm always ready to serve these whenever I have guests over.

Grandma's Egg Custard Pie

This is a delicious pie! I added 1/4 tsp of salt the last time I made it, and it was even better! Without the salt it was a little flat tasting.

Mom's Pumpkin Pie

I make this recipe every Thanksgiving and Christmas, with RAVE reviews. One year I made six different recipes for pumpkin pie, and this one was the unanimous winner (we had 17 people over, that year). Thank you, Jim, for sharing Mom's recipe with all of us!

Banana Sour Cream Bread

Reviewed: Sep. 3, 2004
This is one of the best banana bread recipes I have ever tried. I always receive compliments and requests for the recipe. It freezes well, and I often make it for gift-giving. I sprinkle the top with cinnamon sugar, as well as the pans.

Clone of a Cinnabon

Reviewed: May 16, 2001
I have another "Cinnabon" recipe that is awesome, but it takes hours to prepare. This recipe is equally delicious, but takes only a fraction of the time because it uses the bread machine. If your family loves cinnamon rolls, you've got to try this one. BRAVO!! Thank you, Marsha, for sharing such a great recipe with us!
