Baked Fake Steak with Gravy

Reviewed: Apr. 2, 2007
Made this for dinner last night and my husband and picky 4yo really liked it. I followed another reviewer's shortcut adivice and made in on the stove top (electric skillet actually), and topped it w/mushrooms. Also added an extra can of soup and gravy packet - the gravy wasgreat over mashed potatoes! Good recipe!

Easy Cheesy Tuna Casserole

Reviewed: Jan. 18, 2007
Not a bad recipe - pretty much your basic tuna casserole. I used less noodles (recipe calls for waaaay to many!) and added and extra can of soup and an extra can of tuna. I also used frozen veggies instead of canned. Hubby liked it ok, and my picky 4yo son actually didn't complain (a miracle @ dinner time). Will definately make again.

Cheesy Chicken and Rice Casserole

Reviewed: Jan. 18, 2007
I'm rating this a 4 star only because of the additions I made. I sauted the chicken in onion, garlic & butter. I also added an extra can of soup, 1/2 a package of broccoli, an extra cup of cheese (we're big on cheese) and toped it w/Italian flavored bread crumbs instaed of plain bread. Very yummy! My husband loved it and my picky 4yo son asked for seconds! Will definately make again.

Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings

Reviewed: Jan. 18, 2007
Made this dish a couple of nights ago and loved it! I took the suggestions, and used a can of chicken broth & 1/2 can of milk instead of water and thought it urned out great. I did use both cans of biscuits, but will only use 1 next time. Also, I will add another can of soup, since I thought it could have been a little more "soupy". As is, I'd give it a 3 star, but with the additions, definately a 4-5 star.

Banana Pudding I

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2006
This was terrific! I was in a panic on Thanksgiving when I couldn't find my husband's grandmother's banana pudding recipe - it's a traditional favorite - and went on a frantic search on this site to find somthing similar. This is it! I've always used evaporated milk though, so I used it w/this - turned out great! I would recomend using a litle less vanilla though - it was a tiny bit to strong. I'd also suggest making this the night before. Banana pudding ALWAYS tastes beter the next day!

Southern Style Thanksgiving Green Beans

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2006
This was super yummy! I was at a loss for what to do for Thanksgiving (hubby hates green bean casserole) and found this recipe! I didn't have a homhock, so I used a pound of bacon chopped up instead and it turned out great!

Chicken Salad with Bacon, Lettuce and Tomato

Reviewed: Sep. 30, 2006
Really good! My husband and son love this salad. I left out the avocado (son hates them) and used canned chicken that I had in the pantry, and it turned out just great! I definately recomend it!
