I followed the directions exactly and we were disappointed. The flavor is bland and tastes cheap quite honestly. If you want chocolate pudding, just eat that, this won't taste any better.

This marinade is awesome! The balance of sweetness to spicy was great, although we like a bit more spice so I added some cayenne pepper. We have made this once with pork chops and once with chicken kabobs. I also ran out of apple juice the second time and used orange juice. It was great both ways but I prefer with apple juice. My sauce thickened just fine too. I gave it plenty of time though.

We loved them! I too added 1 3/4 flour and 1 tsp baking soda like everyone recommended. I live above 6000 feet and they didn't deflate like most cookies do here. I also added dried cranberries and it really balanced the choc. chips nicely. My picky husband loved them and asked for more :)
