These are a wonderful, make ahead meatball to have on hand for company. I don't like chunks of pineapple, so I puree the pineapple in a blender and add it to the sauce. I also skip the carrots and pepper, because I am too lazy to chop it! We like this served with mashed potatoes.

This was a great recipe! It is very easy to make. I did not have pumpkin pie spice on hand, so used 2 teaspoons of ground cinnamon, 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg, and a dash of allspice and it turned out great. I actually prefer this to pumpkin pie!

This is a wonderful recipe - I'd never heard of cantaloupe pie before. I made it exactly as posted. It also sets up and cuts well, very pretty pie. And the topping is very flavorful. We ranked this up with our top "favorite" pies!
