Chewy Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookies
These were really good, with the following modifications: Omitted the walnuts, increased flour to 1 3/4c, increased bs to 1 tsp. decreased salt to 1/2tsp. I used old fashioned rolled oats instead of quick, and used the smart balance 50/50 blend sticks. Chilled the dough for 30 min. Baked the 1st batch at 325, for 20 min, the second batch at 350 for 12 min. Neither batch really flattened out, but the second batch was definitely "puffier". Will make again, and will add 1/2 c more choc chips.

Turkey Sloppy Joes
This was a phenomenal recipe for sloppy joes. I have tried many sloppy joe recipes, and this is the best one by far. I added some green pepper to the onion and turkey, and then some garlic powder with the remaining ingredients. My ground turkey pkg was 1.3 lbs, so I added a bit extra ketchup and 1/4-1/2 c of water and let it all simmer with the cover on. My entire family devoured it! Thanks for the recipe, it is a keeper!

Wacky Cake VIII
I made this for my Dad's 60th. Wacky cake is his all time favorite, so when I couldn't find our family's recipe I used this one. It was outstanding! The cake was so moist and chocolatey. It's now the new family recipe. For any newbies to wacky cake, don't shy away from this recipe because it doesn't contain eggs or milk...It's a really good cake.
