Molly's Chicken
This was great, we loved it. I made it in the oven instead of crockpot and thought it turned out better. I pan fried the chicken first (though i dont think this was necessary). Then i mixed the sauce in the bottom of a casserole dish and laid the drumsticks in it. I added about 1 tsp of cornstarch to the sauce to help thicken. I baked (uncovered) at 350 for 30-45 minutes, turning the drumsticks in the sauce once during baking. The sauce really coated the chicken well and every bite was sticky goodness!One other thing is that I only had about half the amount of chicken and used the full amount of sauce and we had the perfect amount for putting over the rice.I imagine baking it in the oven produces less sauce than making it in the crockpot. The flavor was perfect, i used the called for amount of sugar and soysauce. My kids loved it!
