About this Cook
I only really started cooking about 2 years ago. Baking is my first love, but cooking is now a close second. I'm getting much better at it, but maybe that's because I've got such an easy to please bf, lol.
My cooking tragedies
Everything is better with bacon, right? NOT meatloaf. That is the only real catastrophe I've had, and it was still edible. Just a bit sickening.

Refried Beans Without the Refry
This recipe is so easy and so tasty. Not to mention cheap! Next time I am going to try half black beans and half pinto beans.

Cottage Cheese Chicken Enchiladas
Not what I would call authentic, but they were so good I didn't care! Rated the recipe 4 stars as written, but 5 with changes that I made. I added black beans and corn to the meat mixture and used enchilada sauce and salsa instead of taco seasoning. I'm excited to try it again with verde sauce!

Barbeque Pork Two Ways
I can't believe that I haven't reviewed this recipe yet. I've made it so many times that I have lost count! It's easy and I can do it in the crockpot during the summer without heating up the house. 4 star recipe as written, but I usually sub half of the ketchup with a cup of bbq sauce. Freezes nicely too.
