Very good! I especially liked the review that recommended the crock pot. I put mine on low and let it cook overnight. Turned out great! Thanks!

High Temperature Eye-of-Round Roast

Reviewed: Nov. 17, 2009
This was really good despite the fact that my oven obviously DID NOT hold in the heat. I even did what a couple of the reviewers had said 1) let meat come to room temp 2) heated oven for 20 min. I had a smaller roast (2.12lbs) and it still didn't heat it all the way. It was at the end of the 2hrs and 10 min and it read 108 degrees. I turned the oven back on to 350 and cooked it for about an hour and checked it. It eventually got up to 150 I let it rest for about a half hr sliced it up and it was awesome. It was tender and juicy and full of flavor! When I make it next time I will try switching it to 200 after the initial 500 and check it after an hour or so and go from there!

Felix K.'s 'Don't even try to say these aren't the best you've ever eaten, because they are' Chocolate Chip Cookies

very good, but I don't know that I would say "the best...". They were almost too sweet for me, but I did love that they were very doughy. I will make these again but will cut back on brown sugar. Thanks Felix!

Jenn's Out Of This World Spaghetti and Meatballs

Reviewed: Nov. 11, 2009
Loved it! Had to change a thing or two based on what I had. I didn't have any tomato paste, so I used puree in place of the sauce and paste. Used dried herbs and a splash of white wine. Also skipped the water, just used 28 oz crushed and pureed toes. I wish I would've followed the advice and only used 2T of sugar-very sweet with only 1/4c!

Smooth Sweet Tea

Reviewed: Nov. 4, 2009
I should give this recipe 10 stars. I gave the recipe to my grandma, who was addicted to Mc D's tea, but now she can just make it at home! I too love making this and its definitely way less bitter! Thanks for a great iced tea!

Melt-In-Your-Mouth Meat Loaf

Reviewed: Nov. 2, 2009
I thought this was flavorful meatloaf! It reminded me of Bob Evans just slightly. I used Big Al's BBQ Sauce instead of the ketchup/brown sugar topping. Next time I'll try it with a mushroom gravy type sauce instead!

French Bread

Just was I was looking for! I 1/2ed the recipe and made 4 mini loaves. I used 2 to make a half batch of double tomato brushetta, 1 for homemade croutons, and 1 for bread crumbs. thanks!

Pumpkin Apple Streusel Muffins

Reviewed: Nov. 2, 2009
Very good! I think I will take the advice of another reviewer and try wheat flour but I will definitely up the pumpkin and pie spice to make sure it doesn't make it bland. I also might use a pinch of cayenne with the pie spice to really bring out the flavor!

Double Tomato Bruschetta

Reviewed: Oct. 30, 2009
Really good! Followed the recipe except for adding extra garlic. I think next time I will omit the oil and just leave it with the sundried tomato oil-that would've been plenty! I had extra oil left after loading up the bread so I soaked some smaller pieces of bread in it and made croutons-yummy.

Best Chocolate Chip Cookies

Yummy! I followed the review about leaving out the water and putting in the extra vanilla, but I think I will try it with the water next time. It seemed just a tad dry. Other than that, it hit the spot!

Sarge's EZ Pulled Pork BBQ

Reviewed: Sep. 26, 2009
Very easy! I love the fact that it requires no bbq sauce in the crock pot because I think it makes the bbq sauce taste burnt! Followed the recipe, just added liquid smoke like video suggested (based off of reviews). Thanks!

Marinade for Steak I

Reviewed: Sep. 25, 2009
It smelled like it was going to be very flavorful, but all it did was maybe make the steak tender. My husband and I enjoyed it, but our 3 year old said he didn't like it.

Very good! I didn't have time to marinate it for the whole 8 hours, but still very tender and juicy! I will make this again and marinate for the full time to really get the full flavor. Thanks!

Asian Ginger Dressing

Reviewed: Jul. 22, 2009
Really tasty! My husband and I love this stuff! I left the garlic and ginger whole and stuck everything in my chopper! I warmed up the honey in the microwave added it to the chopper and it was done! Followed other suggestions and used 1/4 cup sesame oil/ 1/2 cup olive oil and cut soy sauce in half. Perfect!

Spicy Bean with Bacon Soup

Very good and very flavorful! My 3 year old scarfed it down. The only thing that differed was the beans took forever to become tender, but that always happens to me. Next time I will try it in the slow cooker. Thanks Buffy!

Let me start by saying that I never had pumpkin bread before. This tasted a lot like pumpkin pie with flour. It was good and very moist. I made it for Mother's Day and everyone enjoyed it

Lemon Berry Slushy

Very good! Could've used a little more ice, but that can vary depending on the temperature of the ingredients. I did sub splenda for sugar and it wasn't even noticeable. Very quick and easy and healthy! Thanks!
