Fresh Cherry Cobbler

Very Good. Easy to make. Only used half of the sugar and it's sweet enough. Can't stop eating it!

I made these twice in one week. My kids love them! First time, I forgot to let them rise after shaping them. But still turned out good. Second time, way better. First time, I use middle rack to bake them, but bottom brown way faster then top, so second time, I move it to 1 level higher on rack to bake, and both side baked beautifully.

Amish White Bread

Wow, this turned out great! Followed the recipe exactly. Fresh bread without a bread maker. Pretty easy to make too. I got my son to help me knead the dough. He thinks it's fun. Before this recipe, I was going to buy a bread maker(and really no room for one). Now, I don't need to anymore!

Flourless Chocolate Cake I

This was so good and easy recipe. I made it 3 times already. 1st time I baked it for about 55mins as it didn't look cook when I checked at 45mins, but it was a bit over cooked. 2nd time I baked it for 45min(as directed) and it turned out better, so don't change the time. 3rd time, I add some coffee to the water but couldn't really taste the coffee flavour after baked for some reason. and I use mini cupcake muffin cups to bake them it the 3rd time and it turned out nice, only baked it for about 25mins though. It made about 4 dozen mini chocolate cups. great for pot-lucks. but my husband thinks, it looks better in a cake form though. all 3 times, I didn't bake it in any water. turned out fine. but curious to find out how the difference is if I did bake it in water. Maybe on my 4th time....very soon.

Rosemary Braised Lamb Shanks

I can't believe this tasted so good!! My husband said it's like something he would get from a restaurant. I didn't have any red wine so I used white wine instead. I would definitely make it again. So easy too!

Baked Pork Spring Rolls

I made this for my son's b-day 2 days ago. I triple the recipe. Everyone liked it. My sister asked where I bought it from. She was surprised that I made it since she is the one who cooks the best between the two of us. But eat them while hot, when they get cold, it's a bit chewy. thanks for the great recipe!

Baked Salmon II

I love salmon so I try different recipes all the time. This is one of my favorates. I do not like over cooked salmon at all so I cooked my salmon uncover but only for about 15minute on a preheated oven. any longer is too cooked.

Curried Coconut Chicken

this recipe is so easy to make. It's light and tasty, not like some other curry recipes. I think the secret is to fry the curry powder in the oil for a couple of minutes as per the direction say. That brings out the curry flavour a lot more. I just use drum sticks. Didn't have tomato sauce so I used a can of Campbell's condense tomato soup. It tasted great. My kids loved it. My husband don't usually like to take leftovers for lunch but he took this one the next day.

BBQ Dry Rub

This is SOOOOO GOOOD. We try it on chicken wings tonight and it was the best ever. My kids couldn't get enough of it. I added a tbsp of onion powder and 1 tbsp of garlic powder to the rub.

To Die For Blueberry Muffins

I made these this morning for breakfast before taking the kids to the park. It was so easy to make and fast. They were so good! My sister loves them too. I made a mistake of melting the butter, it made the topping clumpy but they still turned out great!
