Great with a mix of red wine, white and balsamic vinegar! And use olive oil instead of canola... much healthier for you!

Caramel Popcorn Balls

Reviewed: Apr. 18, 2008
Tastes great! I didn't have corn syrup so I didn't use it. I also didn't have a candy thermometer, just boiled it for about 5 minutes and it was fine. Don't use microwave popcorn, that stuff is ! Full of hydrogenated fat (even the American public has taken notice of how bad that is). Take 5 more minutes and make the real stuff!

Oatmeal Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Feb. 27, 2008
Great recipe! I used only half the recipe, and here are the changes I made so that it would fit my healthy lifestyle: I used 1/2 cup of butter instead of shortening or marg. I used 1/2 cup of rapadura instead of sugar (real sugar cane crystals that have not been processed, so it has a dark color but great flavor and great nutrients), 3/4 cup of natural peanut (no hydrogenated oils), whole wheat flour, whole oats (not quick) and added 1/2 t. of vanilla. These cookies taste great- like peanut butter granola bars almost. Plenty of flavor and you don't have to feel guilty about eating these (unless you eat all of them yourself!!)

Original Irish Cream

Delicious. Very thick! I think real coffee made this taste even better. I used 1/2 cup of strong coffee (espresso). I cut down on the whiskey to 1 cup. Also on the almond extract- to 1/2 t. It definitely would have been too strong.

Chile Garlic BBQ Salmon

You can omit the chile sauce if you don't have any. Also you can substitute 1/4 c. lime or lemon juice from concentrate. A little salt also helps.

Lebanese Fattoush

Healthy, fresh, delicious! I did not use the mint leaves or corn. I served the salad in the outside of the cabbage (very bowl shaped!)

Way too buttery. Leaves a greasy feeling in your mouth. Would try another recipe next time I want to make cinnamon cookies.

awesome! I used honey instead of sucralose (1/3 cup and a little brown sugar), and added nuts to the topping. I love this recipe!!
