I retired last July /07 .My interest in cooking and fine dining hit its peak and I enrolled in school. I have just completed 2 years of college(culinary) and enjoyed every second of it.
My favorite things to cook
I love to cook wild game, duck, Canada goose, walleye, trout and venison. Not much opportunity to cook bear or moose, but am willing to try!!
I also cook beef,chicken,salmon,turkey - the usuals
My favorite family cooking traditions
Roast pork loin- all rubbed down or marinated
steak marinated in soya,brown sugar and liquid smoke then grilled on the BBQ...mmmmmmmmm!!

My first couple of times making pie pastry-not a pretty picture
