Update: I have been using this recipe for awhile now, but I add more spices (about 1/4 tsp. Old Bay & 1/4 tsp. dried parlsey), lemon juice (about 1 TBSP), and a little of the broth from the can for a little liquid (I only use one egg). Also, my mom's recipe calls for a little cornmeal and sometimes I add that, too (about 1/8 cup). My FIL loves these, but he and I are the only ones that eat them!(: Original review: I was craving salmon patties like my mom used to make for us when I was little, but whenever I have used her recipe in the past, they have fallen apart. So I thought the used of potato flakes might be a good idea---and it worked!
