Surprise Banana Cake

We thought this cake turned out a little heavy, so will be looking for another banana cake recipe. Also, watch the baking time--the stated time was a little too long for my oven.

Chocolate Cheesecake II

This one is a winner. I made it healthier with the following changes: chocolate graham crumbs instead of cookie crumbs, Half 'n Half instead of whipping cream, lower fat cream cheese instead of regular, and I reduced the chocolate chips in the topping to 1/2 cup instead of the 1 1/2 cups. And it was still rich, creamy and wonderful! After 10 minutes in the oven my crumb crust was starting to burn. My oven runs a bit hot, so next time I'll only bake it for 5 min.

Pineapple Angel Food Cake I

This recipe flopped for me. I think the problem was that I used a two-bag cake mix, and it just didn't whip. I wish the recipe had explained that you need a one-bag mix! Now I have to start over, because the cake turned out absolutely flat, except where it erupted in one corner and produced a hole! I can't really rate it properly until I try it again with the right mix.
