I was born in Long Beach, Ca, raised in Houston, TX and now live in the Great NW. I'm 39 and have a 21 year old daughter and a 17 year old son. I race jeeps just about every weekend in the summer with my family and I love to bake! My cooking is so-so, but my baking is awesome!

Homemade sugar cookies at Christmas and Israeli Honey Cookies, homemade baking powder biscuits are my specialty.
My cooking triumphs
Since my son was a little boy, I've made him a "four-wheelin' mountain cake" for his birthdays. They turn out so awesome and are always a hit with kids AND adults.
My cooking tragedies
When I was 17 I burned my mother's kitchen down. I had put oil in a pot to make fried cheese sticks, turned on the heat and forgot about it. I've never eaten a cheese stick since.
