About this Cook
I am 23 years old, a mother of two beautifully rotten little boys-Thaddeus Maxwell, and Arlo Jacob. I am loving trying out recipes and learning to cook! My mom always worked while we were growing up, so when she cooked after she got home, she just wanted to get it done and so we didnt help much, now I am learning so much, and I actually have a collection of favorites now, cooking is my favorite hobby:) Paula Deen is my cooking hero!:)
My favorite things to cook
Too many! I love all kinds of food, my favorites are italian and mexican, baecause they are SO hearty, but I also love Thai, and of course good old down home southern fried meals, I am just a huge fan of food. My favorite dishes are probably jambalaya, chicken divan, lasagna, any kind of wrap, german pancakes, a good steak dinner w/ lots of seasoning, weiner schnitzel, there's really too many
My favorite family cooking traditions
Well, we used to grill out about every other day of the summer, and my dad makes the best biscuits, so those are my two best memories from cooking, all of our summer grills, and watching my dad fix his biscuits.
My cooking triumphs
The oven baked jambalaya, getting a tender steak down, using bare cupboard ingredients to make something good, that makes me very proud.
My cooking tragedies
Too many too list!! I am an expert at either burning or undercooking, so take your pick!
