I cannot fry things. At all. I broke out the cast iron pan and decided I just HAVE to learn how to successfully fry something and figured it doesn't get much more classic than this. It was a success! The outside was crispy and the meat was tender! My dinner companions were shocked. Thanks for this great recipe!

I used fresh mushrooms and served over angel hair pasta. Other than that, I made it according to the recipe as listed. This wasn't a good recipe or a bad recipe. I'll probably try making this again, maybe add some onions, use white wine instead of water and serve with potatoes & a green vegetable instead of over rice or noodles.

This was easy to make, but I didn't care for the flavor or texture. I'd rather just mix everything together and have a delicious no-bake cookie.
