I am cajun girl from a little small town in Southcentral Louisiana. I was basically raised on rice and gravy. My mom loves to cook and I had a homemade meal on the table everynight. Now it's my turn. I got married on June 23, 2007 and am trying my best to be the good little housewife, although I am far from it. I hate to bake, somehow something always goes terribly wrong. My favorite thing to cook is probably chicken and sausage gumbo because it is by far my favorite food and I have perfected it and everybody loves it. It's better than my moms. hehe. I have been trying to find the perfect white cake recipe to make from scratch. Let's just say I haven't found it yet. lol!
