About this Cook
I'm 24 years old and since i was a kid I have always loved cooking even if it was just helping mom peparing lemonade. I would love to take cooking lessons, as matter of fact every once in a while I take a class but I will like it to be more often and with a study plan. Cooking is one of my hobbies, I think of having a great meal as a luxury. The kitchen is the place where I'm in charge, while the office requires some other stuff. I like looking into recipies to get ideas but when I cook I'll do changes that will suit me better.
My favorite things to cook
I love fresh tuna or salmon. Mainly seafood dishes or if someone dislikes seafood then chicken. As for condiments, pepper, basil, dill are my favorites combined with cream, soy sauce, seasame, balsamic vinegar, sun dried tomatoes and I almost forgot CHEESE!!! On the veggies muschrooms (any kind) asparragus, olives, tomatoes, onions, squach, cucumbers, fresh peppers, celery, lettuce, spinach and avocados are my favorites. I prefer pasta over rice. On the dessert side I like things that are easy but yummi chocolate brownies (with cream cheese, white chocolate you name it) I love to try new recipes but that they taste old fashion (lemon zest, almonds, vanilla). Berries are great for an easy and elegant dessert. With whatever I prepare I like to have a great glass of wine.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My grandmas's xmas codfish (bacalao). Shrimp souffle. When granpa used to be in the kitchen while grand ma cooked. But after that is well known that when one of us is in the kitchen the rest should find something else to do otherwise we will get into trouble :)
My cooking triumphs
When I invite friends over and they enjoy what I prepared. Having my mom's friends that are great cooks enjoy a salmon mousse or a tuna carpaccio.
My cooking tragedies
Trying to bake an angels food cake with no look but a big mess on the pan. Once I poured more butter than I should and start all over again.

Parmesan Sesame Chicken
It's is pretty easy to prepare but I agree with other reviewers it lacks of flavor. First use less that 1/2n cup of bread crumbs. Then for more flavor use garlic salt, pepper and herbs of provenze or dried basil. Now if you don't add any of the seasing I mentioned befores you can prepare some dipping sauces like: a creamy italian dressing, cesar, mustard and mayonise.

Salmon with Brown Sugar and Bourbon Glaze
It is really good and easy to make. But next time I will like to add a little bit of orange or lemon zest, garlic or onion, salt and pepper. That will make it even better.
