About this Cook
I am getting married in one month and have been living with my fiance for over 3 years! When we first started living together we would eat out almost every night because I hated cooking. I kept trying though, and eventually because of this website started getting better and better! It's turned into a hobby of mine and I love trying new things.
My favorite things to cook
I enjoy cooking as healthy as possible. I try to turn every recipe into a healthier version. I typically turn to 30 minute meals such as baked chicken, tilapia, salmon or veal! During the holiday season you can find me trying new cookie recipes and trying to out do the year before.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My Mom's traditions while I was growing up have shaped my taste buds for years to come. She never used a ton of seasoning and went by the saying less is more. We frequently had cous cous with every main meal! My mother makes the best beef brisket for the Jewish holidays- no one elses come close! She also might possibly make the best oatmeal raisin cookies that was ever created.
My cooking triumphs
I tried the peanut butter cup cookies on this site a few years ago at Christmas time and they were such a hit my family and friends still talk about them! They are requested every year. I also just put together a veal milanese recipe which is pretty good.
My cooking tragedies
I once made a baked veal dish COVERED in rosemary. The veal dried up instantly, and all of the rosemary caked on the veal. My fiance actually ATE it but later told me it was the worst thing he ever tasted and please dont ever touch rosemary again. I can't believe he ate it, what a good guy!

I absolutely loved this recipe!!!! I only added 1/4 olive oil...as mentioned by another reviewer, and it came out perfectly. Will be making again

Italian Breaded Pork Chops
One of my favorites in my rotation. I bought some sweet canned vinegar peppers in the store today and plan on serving on top of the pork chops tomorrow night. Think it might go well. Pork chops always come out moist and delicious. Great recipe!!
