Christ follower, married 29 years with 4 children, 16 yo twins and 22 yo son still at home. Every other week the cutest baby on the planet comes to stay with us. My favorite foods to cook are Mexican and Italian followed closely by Southern comfort food. I love doing investment cooking because it makes potluck and "what's for dinner?" so easy. I spend two weekends a year cooking and freezing at least 30-40 different recipes from main dishes to veggies and desserts. Even the clueless teenagers can open the freezer and turn on the oven. A food vacuum sealer is a MUST for this. I had planned a big dinner party and invited friends and family. Spent days painstakingly choosing the perfect combination of recipes from appetizers to dessert. Unfortuantely, I chose all new recipes that I had never prepared before. Lesson learned? When hosting a dinner party, serve recipes that you familiar with and have prepared before. Your guests will appreciate it.
