Hi. I'm mother of 2, ages 12 and 3. I am originally from Calif. but lived in Portland OR for 12 years before moving to a small town in Idaho. Recently I've taking up gardening and canning and I love to scrapbook. I really enjoy cooking everything, but I love to cook Mexican and Asian cuisine. And we love trying different BBQ recipes during the summer. I was raised by my great grandparents and was taught traditional southern cooking and Italian. My grandmother was from Oklahoma and my grandfather was Italian. I love to make Pesto (which we all called "green gravy" and my grandmother passed down the best Peach Cobbler recipe. I've become an expert dessert maker. My family loves my cakes! My worst disaster lately was trying to cook chili in a pressure cooker. It burned horribly! Pan's been soaking for a week and I still can't get it clean!!
