Bird Seed Energy Bars

Giant Crisp Chocolate Chip Cookies

uh-oh! These are TOO GOOD. Like some, I substituted some of the white sugar with brown sugar. I couldn't imagine a chocolate chip cookie without my favorite ingredient in it. I made them without chips, as preferred by my birthday boy and they were perfectly round, perfectly large and perfectly delicious! Right amount of chewy and crispy. AAA+

Sweet Corn Muffins

A nice surprise. I did substitue some of the sugar with honey, and would you believe I discovered that I was out of corn meal half way through mixing. I used some frozen corn kernels -- YUMMY!

Sweet and Sour Dipping Sauce

the very best homemade recipe so far, only I have had better at restaurants -- I used rice wine vinegar which is an asian ingredient vinegar, & it gave it a more authentic taste.

Amish White Bread

I walk right past the bread isle at the grocery store! This is so easy and tastes better than any store brand. If you want it less dense, use just a touch less flour. I substitute sugar with honey and it makes it so much better. Somehow the honey works it's way into the crust and makes it look beautiful too. I have recently started adding a tbsp. of brown sugar to the dough as well. P.S. Remember to use UNbleached flour & keep your family safe & healthy! THANKS!
