About this Cook
Mother to a beautiful 16 month old girl and a handsome 4 week old baby boy. Time to cook is precious so I am now cooking quantity and freezing extra to maintain my sanity. I am trying to keep my family healthy and doing 90% organic but WOW who has time :)
My favorite things to cook
I LOVE TO BAKE!!!
My cooking triumphs
Teaching myself to cook...I have come along way since cooking cardboard steaks at 22.
My cooking tragedies
Plaster cake when I was 10..used plaster of paris inl lieu of flour by accident...and my infamous cardboard steaks...

Zucchini-Chocolate Chip Muffins
Wow these are delicious!!!! Moist and just the right amount of chocolate! I added a bit extra zucchini...just to get more veggies into my kids diet!

Delicious Ham and Potato Soup
WOW - made this tonight & it is definitely restaurant quality soup. Next time I will add clams and corn to make a chowder. As previous people stated the roux needs to be thick to ensure this soup/chowder is thick. This will be great in a sour dough bowl!!!!
