I live in a small apartment with my husband Cory and our cats Roxy and Muffin. I enjoy cooking, baking, cleaning and organizing, making lists and playing Tetris and Dr. Mario. Any dish that involves chicken, I'll try. Potato soup is a recent favorite and I love the many variations of it. I also like baking cookies, brownies and other sweet treats. Eating arroz con frijoles and picadillo at least once a week when I lived back in Miami with my mom and grandma (they're from Honduras). Making a really delicious vegan cake for a friend's birthday. I'd never done anything like it before since I'm not vegan at all. It was a big hit. I usually get really impatient after I've baked something so I'll try and take it out of the pan too early which only ends in a mess. I need to learn to let it sit and cool off before I try to dig in!
