Me and my Fiance
About this Cook
Single working mom trying to stay remotely healthy. Lots of protine, fiber, fruits & veggies!
My favorite things to cook
Chicken in the most often prepared meal in my home. Occasionally I splurge and make a nice bloody steak (ribeye or filet of course). Chicken carsar or tossed salads are a regular dinner choice. We also LOVE spicy South-Western foods
My favorite family cooking traditions
Chicken dishes and HOLIDAYS! Trying to start my own "traditions", but "The Boy" (Mason) is to small to carry on yet.
My cooking triumphs
1st time I cooked for my fiance I was broke and had NO food in the house, I ended up scraping enough ingrediants to creativity to make Chicken Parmagana. It was awesome and vert impressive (so says Gabriel).
My cooking tragedies
Tried to make a Bloomin' onion and set the kitchen on fire...I was 13. :)

Cinnamon Sweet Potato Slices
Love this sweet potatoe recepie. Was origionally looking for a baked sweet potatoe recepie with brown sugar and cinnamon, but this was way better. My fiance loved it and so did my 3 year old boy. Very good!

Julie's Chicken Salad
I really loved all the texture and flavors that this recepie brought together. I did use fat free mayo and added a little dijon mustard. I can't help it I always have to add or change something, but this was an awesome recepie. This will become my permanent chicken salad recepie.
