About this Cook
Hi! My name is Meredith and I'm 23 years old and in college studying psychology. I live with my fiance and I enjoy cooking for him. (And for me too!) I'm always looking for a new recipe to try out and pray it comes out well :)
My favorite things to cook
Speghetti, Chicken and Rice, Hamburger Steaks with Onion & Mushroom gravy, Grilled Herb Chicken
My favorite family cooking traditions
My grandmother used to make these delicious meatballs in a tomato based gravy. My ultimate cooking goal is to accomplish these. lol
My cooking triumphs
Anytime my boyfriend really compliments me on dinner. I really want him to like what I make.
My cooking tragedies
I hate wasting time (or the money) on something that doesn't come out well. I made a lasagna once that just wasn't very good. About 3 hours later and with lots of dirty dishes I wanted to cry...lol.

Broiled Tilapia Parmesan
Wow! This was WONDERFUL! Last time I went to Olive Garden I had Parmesan Tilapia, and this recipe was 10 times better than theirs. Like another reviewer suggested, I added bread crumbs and doubled the amount of pepper. I also seasoned each side of the fillets with Old Bay. I served alongside garlic mashed new potatoes and steamed green beans. A fabulous dinner...with out a doubt I will definitely make this again soon!

Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies
These cookies are the best! I took the advice of another reviewer and used french vanilla instant pudding mix. Very tasty. The only thing I added to the ingredients was a pinch of salt. I didn't have any brown sugar on hand so I substituted with white sugar and molasses. I cut the recipe down to 18 servings, thinking I would get 3 dozen cookies, but it turned out to be only 2 dozen. Next time I have a big event I will definitely make the full recipe. Thank you so much for these delicious little cookies!

Baked Spaghetti I
This wasn't very good to me. A lot of the ingredients are what I've been using for regular spaghetti for years, so I thought I would try it. For the longest I stood in the kitchen debating on whether or not to use the cream of mushroom soup. I decided what the heck and try it out. It was not very good. Also this recipe did not have very much flavor at all. Don't think I will try this again.
