About this Cook
I went to a one year Baking & Pastry Arts program outside of Buffalo, NY. I worked as both a cake decorator and restaurant pastry chef, but currently work in customer service (hey, it's easier with a small child.) But, I LOVE to bake still!
My favorite things to cook
Cookies, desserts, cakes, Italian foods
My favorite family cooking traditions
Christmas cookies, my grandmother's balsamic vinegar chicken, my mother's pesto
My cooking triumphs
Created a few recipes that I think are pretty darn good! Check out T.T.'s cookies! My friend Annette and I created that one on a Tuesday after having some Tequila. Hence, the T.T-- for "Tequila Tuesday!" HA!
My cooking tragedies
Fortune cookies-- how in the world do you get those things to fold properly!?

Cinnamon Coffee Cake II
Very, very good! I added a few chocolate chips to the brown sugar & nuts, which made it quite tasty. Something that didn't occur to me, so I thought I would throw it there- if you do a bundt, the brown sugar & nut mixture is on the bottom. It works though, I made a little 10x sugar glaze and having a "crust" was cool.

Delicious Raisin Nut Banana Bread
Delicious! I turned it into muffins and added a bit of peanut butter, too. They were great! Thanks!

Creamy Au Gratin Potatoes
I am very adventurous when it comes to food and flavors! Not to mention, I'm Italian, so I never had anything like this on holidays growing up. But sometimes you need a delicious, simple cheesy potato. And this is it. I prefer to avoid canned soups which is why I chose this recipe. I have to say, it was excellent and incredibly well received on Easter! I didn't change a thing. Thanks a bunch.
