Strawberry Whipped Sensation

This was OK the first slice, but I don't think it keeps very well in the freezer as we did not eat the whole thing right away. It is very, very sweet.

A Southern Fried Chicken

Almond Chicken Salad

This was a really good salad. The flavors went together well. I would recommend doubling the dressing if you plan to put it over lettuce.

These disappear so fast every time I make them. While rolos are good, I prefer to use Reisen for extra chocolate flavor. Keep a close eye while these are in the oven because mine were ready a little early.

Spicy Coconut and Lime Grilled Shrimp

The heat from the jalapeno drowned out the other flavors. Next time, I will reduce the jalapeno. For the person looking for a spicy jalapeno: look for one with "stripess" or streaks that give it the appearance that it's bursting from it's skin. Those usually have more heat.

Rosemary Ranch Chicken Kabobs

These were OK. I marinated them longer to get more flavor in the chicken, but it was still lacking something. These just weren't my taste. The flavors did not seem to mix well.

The Best Meatballs You'll Ever Have

There were too many conflicting flavors in these meatballs. I thought they were too spicy, and I like spicy food. I ate them plain, but I cannot imagine eating these in spagetti sauce.

Microwave Chocolate Cake

I have no idea how this recipe got any 5 star reviews. Yeah, it's easy to make, but if it doesn't taste good, what's the point? I thought the texture was fine, but the flavor was not sweet even though there is a lot of sugar. I don't think that is the problem. Adding the chocolate sauce made it slightly better, but not enough. I believe in rating the recipe as written and this one only gets 2 stars from me.

I do not know what people see in these because I think they taste gross. I could only taste the chili sauce. I was thinking there would be a sweetness from the jelly, but there wasn't.

Surprise Burgers

These are my favorite burgers to make becuase they are so unique and tasty! It is easier to get a well done burger with the crushed pinapple, but you're not really doing the burger justice. Use the pinnaple rings. I usually half the brown sugar just becuase I don't need it that sweet.

Grandma's Sloppy Joes

I make this recipe all the time, but I omit the cloves and the salt. The cloves make it taste funny, and I just don't think you need the salt because of the amount of ketchup. I like the fact that this recipe uses peppers and onions because I feel like it makes the joes more healthy.

Deviled Eggs I

The picture is misleading because the paprika was sprinkled on top. Do not mix the paprika in! Your eggs will be this absolutely disgusting color, and the flavor will overwhelm the other flavors.
